This doll is from Brazil in South America. She does appear relatively pale compared with the typical
brazilian skin colour. My friend Marie-Alix thinks that this is a brazilian european doll representative of the central
european cultures that colonised areas of Brazil during the last century.
My mum's friend, who worked in the 1980's and 1990's across the many provinces of Brazil during her
career and who is now retired in Ireland, brought me this little treasure.
