My swedish doll below is called the "Ice Maiden".
That is the term that people from other parts of Sweden call Stockholm. They seem to find the city a little aloof compared
to the rural culture in the rest of the country. Mum and Dad loved the city, the Venice of the North without doubt. Sure it
was icy, but only the weather, the people were really nice and friendly.
The City is located on Lake Malaren and on the baltic sea
amidst the most spectacular island scenery that you can imagine. You can skate long distance "depending on the weather".
Gives the Weather Forecast a new dimension don't you think for us sun lovers!!
The old town is called "Gamla Stan" and is a real treasure.
"Ice Maiden" was located there one cold day in February 2002.
